Experimental Analysis of Polycaprolactone High-Resolution Fused Deposition Manufacturing-Based Electric Field-Driven Jet Deposition

Polycaprolactone (PCL) scaffolds have been widely used in biological manufacturing engineering. With the expansion of PCL application field, manufacture high-resolution complex microstructure is becoming a technical challenge. In this paper, novel fused deposition 3D printing based on electric field-driven (EFD) jet proposed to porous scaffold structures. The process principle continuous cone-jet mode was analyzed, and an experimental system constructed field driven carry out experiments. studies PCL-fused under different gas pressures, voltages, motion velocities heights were carried out. Analysis results shows that there effective range height (H) realize stable when applied voltage constant. Under stretching force viscous drag (FD) with increasing movement (Vs) at same height, width lines also gradually decreased. line velocity platform approximately quadratic curve. bending phenomenon decreases increase velocities. According experiment results, single layer linear grid structure printed appropriate parameters, compact structure, uniform size good straightness. verify can be accurately manufactured.
